Every journey has an end. My association with AAP which was beautiful/revolutionary has also an end.I have resigned from the PARTY/requested PAC to accept the same. It is purely from a very very personal reason.Thanks to party/all of them who supported me Throughout.Thanks.

उन्होंने आज यानी बुधवार को पार्टी की सर्वोच्च संस्था पॉलिटिकल अफेयर्स कमेटी (पीएसी) को अपना इस्तीफा सौंप दिया. आशुतोष ने कहा कि वो बेहद निजी कारण से आम आदमी पार्टी छोड़ रहे हैं.

आशुतोष ने वर्ष 2014 में आम आदमी पार्टी के टिकट से लोकसभा का चुनाव भी लड़ा था. बताया जा रहा है कि आशुतोष ने निजी वजह से पार्टी छोड़ी है और वो राजनीति से भी संन्यास ले सकते हैं. आशुतोष के आम आदमी पार्टी का साथ छोड़ने की एक वजह ये भी बताई जा रही है कि वो इसी साल राज्यसभा में नहीं भेजे जाने से बेहद नाराज थे.
