The eight-year-old student of Mainadevi Bajaj International School has earned international recognition across sports, music, cognitive challenges and art, supported by his family’s encouragement.

MUMBAI: Eight-year-old Rudhran Rishab Halwai, a student at Mainadevi Bajaj International School, has been honoured with the Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman 2026 at the India Republic Times – Leadership Conclave Mumbai 2026. The recognition celebrates his achievements across multiple disciplines, including sports, art and culture, music, martial arts and cognitive challenges.

Known as “The All-Rounder King,” Rudhran has gained attention for developing skills across diverse fields at a young age. His achievements reflect a combination of regular practice, curiosity, discipline and family support, with his father, Rishab Halwai, and mother, Prina Halwai, playing important roles in encouraging his development.

Excellence Across Physical and Cognitive Disciplines

Rudhran’s achievements include an International Book of Records title for holding the Chakrasana pose for 3 minutes and 6 seconds. He has also established a record for arranging chessmen on a chessboard while blindfolded, completing the task in 2 minutes and 14 seconds.

These accomplishments demonstrate different aspects of his abilities, from physical endurance and flexibility to concentration and mental coordination. His participation in activities that require both physical control and cognitive focus has helped shape his profile as a young multidisciplinary achiever.

Beyond these records, Rudhran practises gymnastics and Kung Fu, solves Rubik’s cubes, plays the keyboard and tabla, and recites Shlokas. His ability to pursue these different interests has earned him the nickname “The All-Rounder King.”

A Blend of Music, Art and Cultural Learning

Rudhran’s interests extend beyond sports and mental challenges. His musical activities include playing the keyboard and tabla, and he has been recognised for playing five different tune styles on an electronic keyboard.

He also participates in Shloka recitation, connecting his learning with cultural expression. These activities complement his involvement in gymnastics, martial arts and puzzle-solving, offering a broad range of experiences across physical, intellectual and artistic pursuits.

His journey illustrates how varied interests can encourage young learners to explore different forms of expression while developing concentration and consistency.

Creative Projects with a National Theme

Rudhran has also participated in collaborative Rubik’s cube mosaic projects celebrating Indian national heroes and distinguished personalities. One project involved creating a portrait using 2,014 Rubik’s cubes, while other mosaic portraits honoured figures including industrialist Ratan Tata and astronaut Sunita Williams.

Such projects combine problem-solving with teamwork and visual creativity. They also demonstrate how a skill commonly associated with puzzles can be used as a medium for large-scale artistic expression.

Recognition from Distinguished Personalities

Rudhran’s accomplishments have brought recognition from prominent personalities. He received the “Shining Star” title from Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist and a Padma Shri awardee. He has also been felicitated by Indian women’s cricket vice-captain Smriti Mandhana and commended by former NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede (IRS).

These recognitions form part of his growing journey as a young achiever across several fields.

The Importance of Family Support

Behind Rudhran’s progress is the continued encouragement of his father, Rishab Halwai, and his mother, Prina Halwai. Their support has helped him pursue different activities while developing focus, resilience and a willingness to take on new challenges.

The Bharat Shreshtha Ratna Sanman 2026 recognises Rudhran’s multidisciplinary achievements and his dedication to learning and skill development. His journey highlights the possibilities that can emerge when curiosity, structured practice and family encouragement come together during childhood.

As he continues exploring sports, music, art and cultural activities, Rudhran Rishab Halwai represents a young generation of learners seeking excellence across more than one field.
